Game Night in Halifax: The Strain-and-Snacks Delivery Plan
Game night in Halifax deserves a proper plan. Whether it's hockey night, a playoff run, a board game marathon or the big match on a Sunday, the best game nights are the ones where nobody has to leave mid-game for supplies. Here's the strain-and-snacks plan.

Timing: Order Before Puck Drop
Most orders land in a typical 1–3 hour window. For a 7 pm game, get your order in by early afternoon. That gives you time to grab snacks, set up and settle in before the anthem.
The Game Night Lineup
- The main event: a social, flavourful hybrid like Blue Runtz or Jet Fuel Gelato. Upbeat enough to keep you in the game.
- For the crowd: a crowd-pleaser like Purple Candy that almost everyone enjoys.
- Overtime: something heavier like Gorilla Butter for when the game runs late.
- For non-smokers: a pack of Cannabutter Brownie Bites.
Board Game Night?
Strategy games, card games and party games all go better with a balanced hybrid or a bright sativa like Strawberry Cough, which keeps everyone sharp enough to play and loose enough to laugh. Save the heavy indicas for after the last round.
Quick Answers
How much for a group of four? A half to a full ounce, plus a pack of edibles, covers a long night.
What's the best game night strain? A social hybrid like Blue Runtz.
Can I order mid-game? You can, but ordering before the game means no waiting.
The Snack Strategy
Every great game night needs snacks: chips, wings, a donair from your favourite spot, and plenty of water and pop. Get the food sorted at the same time you place your order, so the only thing you're watching at the door is the delivery.
Hosting the Crew
A mixed order makes hosting easy: a quarter of a hybrid, a quarter of something heavier, a gram of shatter for the concentrate fans and a pack of edibles. Around $80 to $90 covers a full house, delivered free.
Responsible Hosting
Keep it 19+, make sure everyone has a safe way home, and never let anyone drive after using cannabis.
Win Game Night
The difference between a good game night and a great one is preparation. Order early, set up the snacks and enjoy every period.
